Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Endevee ("we", "us") collects when you use endevee.com (the "Service"), and how we use, store, and share it.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Email address — used to send you a magic sign-in link and, if enabled, notifications. We don't use passwords; sign-in works via a one-time emailed link.
- Username and profile details — username, optional bio, and avatar are public by design, since profiles are public pages.
Content you provide
- Project details, devlog/makelog entries, comments, feedback, roadmap milestones, team credits, and any images you upload (project banners/icons, devlog/media images). This content is public unless you mark a feature private in your project's settings.
Automatically collected information
- Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) collected by our hosting provider, Netlify, for security and operational purposes.
- Authentication session tokens stored in your browser's local storage, used to keep you signed in.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Service — create your account, display your profile and projects, and let other users follow, comment, and give feedback.
- To send you transactional email (magic sign-in links). We don't send marketing email today; if that changes, you'll be able to opt out.
- To maintain security and enforce our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share information with the following service providers ("subprocessors") only as needed to run Endevee:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Resend | Sending transactional sign-in emails |
| Netlify | Website hosting and DNS |
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Endevee and its users.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email support@endevee.com. [Note: build a self-serve account deletion flow if you want to avoid handling this manually as you grow.] Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@endevee.com. [If you have EU/UK/California users, expand this section with the specific GDPR/CCPA-required disclosures and response timelines.]
6. Children's privacy
Endevee is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact privacy@endevee.com and we'll remove it.
7. Security
We rely on our infrastructure providers' security practices (Supabase, Netlify) and standard access controls (row-level security on our database) to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. International users
Endevee's infrastructure is hosted in the United States (via Supabase and Netlify's default regions). If you're accessing the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
